Dash Delivery contracts with FedEx to deliver in the Lincoln City / Newport areas.

This work does involve some heavy packages. FedEx Ground delivers items up to 150 lbs. Each day you’ll get anywhere from 2 to 10 that are in the 80# plus range. You’ll have a hand truck and can slide them out and onto it but they still take a lot of effort. Most other stops will be small.

This is a Federal DOT regulated job. That means it’s subject to drug testing and including THC (marijuana).

The work load varies day to day. We try to average 3 days a week with most drivers done by 3pm. One or two days a week it goes until 5pm or 6pm. Peak season really impacts the volume but we do add extra drivers at that time. Tuesdays tend to be a longer day while Mondays and Wednesdays are often much shorter.

Work at your own pace and as long as you meet the few deadline deliveries on the route you can set it up the way you want.

We are hiring Delivery Driver’s to make local deliveries in a company vehicle. We have a team of approximately 20 drivers and a variety or routes with room for advancement and increased wages. Volume bonuses and overtime available.

KEY DETAILS:

• Starting Wage: $19 during training period (2 to 3 week) then $170 per day on a basic route with room to move to higher volume routes over time. Ideally you’ll be around 36 hours a week most weeks but will be up to 45 hours while learning and during peak.
• Shifts: Monday – Friday

License/Certification:

• Driver’s license for the past 5 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of packages to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies regarding safety and vehicle operation.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license for at least 5 years with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.
• Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools.
